Gidget’s Story
Gidget’s History:
Gidget was rescued from animal control already about 40 days into her pregnancy. We were able to see puppies on ultrasound on the day she was rescued with little heartbeats.
A week after she was rescued we were able to see puppy skeletons on X-rays, putting us around day 45. We could see 3 skulls clearly and believed we could see a fourth as well that was hiding his head.

The Birth:
Gidget went into labor around 10:50 AM, March 12th 2018.
– Puppy number 1 was born at 11:04 AM, a girl weighing in at 7.1 ounces. We named her Thingamajig, Jig for short.
– Puppy number 2 arrived at 11:26 AM, a girl weighing 7.3 ounces. She is named Whatchamacallit. We’ll call her Cha-Cha.
– Puppy 3 came at 11:54 AM, a little boy at 6.5 ounces. His name is Gizmo.
– Lastly, puppy 4 weighing 7.6 ounces, the biggest one yet at 1:10 PM. His name is Thingamabob, Bob for short.
