Hi Future Family!
We’re Judy & Liza. I’m Judy and I’m Liza’s mom. I am a little taller than Liza and have light cataracts, but they don’t affect my vision too badly. Liza has a mushier face and a little more gray on her face. Both of us love to play. Liza especially loves running around and belly rubs. We walk really nicely on the leash. Plus, did I mention we like treats, and know how to sit for them?
We’ve been loved most of our lives by our human family, but our human dad passed away a few years ago and our human mom just went into a nursing home. Liza & I were taken to the vet to be EUTHANIZED for being old and unwanted, but the vet said NO WAY, not these healthy happy girls, so he called Animal Control and the nice people at Animal Control called up the Rescue Ranch and they came right away to rescue us.
We’ve lived with other animals, kids, adults, and are pretty easy going and well adjusted. I think having each other has made the transition to rescue living easy, and we’d like to stay together in our forever home too. We’ll do well with most any family, but we do like fenced in yards since Liza doesn’t like to potty on a leash… kids you know?
Anyway, if you think you’d like two mature ladies, we can watch marathons of The Golden Girls and play in the yard and get unlimited belly rubs, then we are your girls.
