I’ve Been Adopted!
Meet Georgia!
Georgia is 4 year old 18 lbs Boston Terrier. Georgia arrived to the Rescue Ranch suffering from a flea allergy which caused the loss of much of her fur. She was also underweight and wormy. A secondary skin infection had set in where she had scratched at the fleas and made scabs all over her skin. Our first stop was the vet where we learned Georgia was pretty healthy other than the obvious fixable problems.
Georgia is flea free, heart worm negative, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. She’s also been dewormed and is gaining weight with lots of good food. Her fur is growing back beautifully and in a couple months, she’ll be unrecognizable as the skinny naked dog that arrived.
Georgia is pretty unique in that she is a pure bred Boston Terrier with a tail! Georgia has a “half tail”, not as long as some dogs, but much longer than most Boston Terriers! She also has bowed back legs and walks like a cowboy too long in the saddle! However, the vet has fully checked out her legs and joints and feels confident that it’s just the way she’s shaped and didn’t note any problems with her knees or hips.
Georgia is very affectionate, playful, and a great snuggler. She’s an in the bed under the covers kind of girl! She loves to perch on the back of the couch like a cat. She also loves belly rubs and stuffed toys. Georgia is house trained and crate trained. She does some have some separation anxiety, so she needs someone home most of the time. She also gets along with most other dogs, but can be jealous with other young females, so she’d do best with laid back fur siblings. She will also need to meet her potential fur siblings prior to adoption.
If you are interested in making Georgia a part of your family, please apply today! Her adoption fee will be $350.00.
