Meet Pru Pug

Pru arrived to the Rescue Ranch on October 26th. Pru is a 7 year old pug who needs a lot of TLC.

Pru arrived very, very fearful and pretty shut down. We have been working very slowly with her to build her confidence and teach her that she doesn’t have to bury her head like an ostrich. We are teaching her that people are good, not scary. She’s been making big progress over the last few weeks, coming out of her shell, playing with the occasional toy, and becoming part of the pack.

Pru will thrive in a quiet home willing to continue to allow her to blossom. She has a training document we developed with our trainer to continue to work on building her confidence and associating people with good things.

Pru is fully vaccinated, heart worm negative, up to date on vaccines, and recently had a dental cleaning.
