Welcome Hugh! (aka The Wolverine, catdog, kitten/pup)!
Like many things in life, Rescue is often uncertain. Sometimes what we think we are getting, isn’t what arrives at all. And sometimes what you get is perfect.
He’s “supposed” to be a Boston, but guessing maybe a Bugg (Boston/Pug) or Boston/Chi or some combination of the three. He’s also “supposed” to be 8 weeks old, but the vet thinks more like 4-5 weeks. He will be fully vetted and neutered before he’s ready, so at least a couple weeks (12-16 weeks at adoption).
Hugh is not the 8 weeks we were told. He is more 4 to maybe 5 weeks old making him too young to even get any shots. Hugh goes back in 2 weeks to start getting shots and once those are finished he will be neutered prior to going to his forever home. He is a healthy little boy though so he should do just fine. He was dewormed today as well. He weighed in at a very petite 1.2 lbs today!
Hugh will be ready for his forever home sometime in February. We are not currently accepting applications for Hugh due to overwhelming response and Hugh’s home will be selected by lottery of approved applicants. .
