Meet Mugsbie!
Mugsbie was found as a very skinny stray. He arrived here at the Ranch, was vetted, neutered, and vaccinated and started gaining weight. As the weight came on, so did a pronounced limp. Mugsbie was diagnosed with a luxating patella, which is a common Boston problem when the groove that the kneecap rests in isn’t deep enough and the knee pops out of place.
Mugsbie recently had surgery on his knee and will be as good as new soon! He’s happy and active and very silly. He loves to make “seal faces” at you by laying his ears flat and smiling.
Mugsbie gets along well with other dogs. He’s continuing to work on house training and almost has it mastered. He is completely crate trained. He walks well on a leash. Mugsbie is 12 months old.
